Preparing For Your Tattoo Appointment
The Night Before Your Appointment
- Get to bed on time and make sure to get plenty of sleep. Coming to your appointment with a well-rested body will help you sit better for your tattoo.
- Stay Hydrated and drink plenty of water. Avoid alcohol the night before your appointment. Alcohol can thin your blood and disturb the whole tattoo process. Excessive amounts of coffee and/or caffeine can also make it difficult to sit for your tattoo.
- If you're getting sick, or are just outright sick please contact Becky via email, text, or phone to reschedule the appointment. Along with exposing others to your sickness, getting tattooed while you're sick can disturb your tattoo's healing process.
The Day Of Your Appointment
- Please be on time and do not arrive more than 10 minutes early for your appointment. Becky is often taking back to back clients and will most likely need until your appointment time to get set up. If you're running late please contact us via text, phone, or email.
- You are welcome to bring up to 1 person with you to your appointment.
- Pack a small bag with your fully charged cell phone, snacks, and water. This will help keep you hydrated and energized for your tattoo session.
- Wear clothing that will allow Becky to easily work in the area you're choosing for your tattoo placement. If you're unsure which garments will work best feel free to bring a few different options. Make sure you're okay with ink getting on whatever garment you choose to wear.
- Please make sure you shower or bathe before coming to your appointment.
- Always eat a full meal before getting tattooed.
- Don't drink an excess amount of caffeine before coming in, as it will thin your blood and make it harder for you to sit still. This doesn’t mean you can’t have some coffee in the morning, just try not to over do it.
- Please do not bring children to your appointment. People under the age of 18 are not allowed in the tattoo studio.
